The Trek Powerfly FS 8 LT gives the ultimate all-mountain experience, re-designed for 2018 to include an integrated Bosch 500Wh battery and the all new eMTB mode for you to experience a whole new realm of mountain biking! At the heart of the Trek Powerfly FS 8 LT is the proven Bosch Performance Line CX motor with its all new eMTB mode, experience riding like never before with the motor dynamically supporting your own pedal power by between 120% and 300% which automatically adapts to the rider's individual style. This new mode has taken the problem away from starting on steep slopes and off-road riding is made significantly easier. This provides a natural riding experience for performance on the trail. Combined with the Bosch 500Wh battery, this bike has the range for a full day's worth of trail riding. All the important information is displayed on the included Purion display, and whilst you are able to select between the different assistance levels yourself, the eMTB mode has taken the worry out of assistance levels, allowing you to concentrate on the trail ahead. 150mm of premium Fox suspension up front takes care of the big hits of all mountain riding with the 34 Float Performance fork which has been e-bike optimised. The RockShox Deluxe RT3 which has been specifically tuned by the Trek Suspension Lab creates a perfect partner at the rear, again with 150mm of travel to soak up harsh terrain and keep the bike grounded in combination with Trek's own Active Braking Pivot. The Combination of Shimano Deore XT shifters and rear derailleur work with the wide range 11-46 11 Speed SLX cassette to create a reliable drivetrain that maximises the efficiency of the Bosch motor. The bike also benefits from a Tubeless Ready wheel-set up with boost spaced hubs and Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance tyres to ensure that this bike handles its best on the roughest of terrain.
