Scott's 2018 E-Spark 720 harnesses the proven power of the Shimano E8000 motor and combines it with a lightweight aluminium frame with integrated battery to make the ultimate in electric mountain bikes. Built around the proven Shimano E8000 motor, the Scott E-Spark 720 puts out 250W of power and 70Nm of torque, with a smooth power delivery, making light work of climbing. With the high-capacity 500Wh battery being completely integrated into the frame design, the Scott certainly looks the part and is good for a whole days' worth of trail exploration. The 3 assistance modes of the motor are all controlled via the bar-mounted remote and are clearly visible on the included display which also gives you your speed and remaining battery levels. The E-Spark 720 features premium Fox suspension components. The front 34 Float Performance fork has been specifically optimized for e-bikes and gives 130mm of plush, responsive travel to make ease of the roughest terrain. At the rear there is a Fox Nude EVOL which works with the frame to provide 120mm of rear travel. The shock itself features 3 modes, Lockout, traction control and descend, meaning you can fine-tune your set-up on the fly to give the greatest performance. SRAM's NX1 drivetrain provides 11-Speeds of smooth shifting to enhance the performance of the motor. With the wide range 11-42T cassette, you can be sure that the right gear is there for your needs. Scott have added 203mm discs front and rear to give maximum braking efficiency. Paired with a Shimano Deore M6000 caliper, you are able to push your limits and power into corners and berms, faster than previously imagined. The combination of Maxxis Rekon Maxx Terra and Maxx Speed tyres give the optimum in speed and grip, making the E-Spark suitable for hard riding in all weather conditions.
