The Sting 140 HPC SL is the ultimate all mountain machine for female trail warriors. A bit hyperbolic? We don't think so. Completely redesigned for 2018, this is an uncompromisingly light, stiff, fast and agile suspension bike built with one goal: to be the finest of its kind. Featuring a new carbon frame with revised geometry, our designers spared no expense kitting this bike out. From the RockShox Pike fork and Super Deluxe shock with piggyback reservoir to the Newmen wheelset and cockpit components, SRAM GX Eagle 1×12 gears with carbon crank and SRAM Guide RS hydraulic disc brakes, we've chosen the best of the best so that you can ride at your best, too. We even included a RockShox Reverb dropper post to help with tackling those particularly tricky technical lines. And, with frame sizes starting at 13.5 inch, there's a Sting 140 HPC SL to suit every woman. It won't let you down. This year our engineering team began with a blank sheet of paper and gave the Sting 140 HPC SL a completely new frame. With shorter chainstays and a steeper seat angle for better climbing and more responsive handling in singletrack, the carbon main frame also features a longer reach and geometry designed for 150mm forks. We fitted a Boost 148 axle at the rear to complement the tapered steerer's more accurate steering, and we even managed to hide the pivot points and tuck the cables inside the frame for a clean, svelte appearance that you'll love. The whole thing is lighter, stiffer and better handlng than ever, which is great news… because you can just concentrate on the ride!
